Cultural and Religious Programs

Expenses related to participation in a tribe’s cultural, social, religious, or community activities including:

  • Pow-wows, ceremonies, and traditional dances
  • Expenses related to tribal courses and programs
  • Funeral and Burial Expenses

Education Programs

Tuition Payments, Room and Board, School Supplies, Transportation to and from:

Elder and Disabled Programs

Members age 55 and above (or as defined by the tribe) or who are mentally or physically disabled (as defined under applicable law, including but not limited to tribal government disability codes) may include:

Health & Long-Term Care

Medical, Pharmacy, Dental, & Vision-related expenses.

Childcare

  • Care for Qualified Non-Members (Ages 12 and Under)
  • Care for a spouse or relative that is not physically or mentally able to care for him/herself

Utilities

  • Electricity
  • Water, Sewer, Waste

Transportation

Expenses for transportation between the tribal reservation (or primary residence) and essential public service facilities such as medical clinics, grocery stores, etc.

Emergency Circumstances

Provide assistance to individuals in exigent circumstances (including but not limited to victims of abuse)
